SCHEDULE:
8:30am-9:30am | Breakfast and a local missions presentation by Tim Filston & Bryan Watt | FPC Fellowship Hall
9:30am-12:30pm | Service Projects (Note: We will meet at the FPC Fellowship Hall and go from there to the project sites)
PROJECT ASSIGNMENTS:
When you arrive at the FPC Fellowship Hall, you will check in at the entrance and choose which project you would like to be a part of.
SERVICE PROJECTS:
We are excited to partner with Pastor Ricky Monroe of Mt. Sinai Apostolic Church for a food distribution/activities for kids and Spark Thomasville for a special painting project for a new business that came through their program. Below is a more detailed description of the projects:
Painting Project (503 North Blvd, Thomasville, GA 31792)
In partnership with Spark Thomasville, we will be painting the outside of the building for the “Top Notch Training Institute”, a local business started by Sybol Corker Rembert, a former graduate of the Spark Thomasville program. We have the paint and paint supplies, but we need volunteers to help make it happen.
What to Wear: Painting clothes
What to Bring: Ladders & gloves
Food Distribution (1217 Short Broad St, Thomasville, GA 31792)
In partnership with Mt. Sinai Apostolic Church, we will be help pack and distribute bags of food for families in need living in the community surrounding their church. We will also have games, crafts, and face painting for kids who show up from the community.
What to Wear: Casual…Check the weather and dress appropriately
What to Bring: Nothing but yourself. We will have everything there for you.
