We focus our time on fun and fellowship with Bible story and application, scripture memory, games/outdoor play, service opportunities, and NEW this year, Music, Praise & Worship! The lively curriculum is from Amazing Life, 252Kids.
JAM includes large group snack and outdoor time, followed by the Bible story and lesson, and monthly memory verse and Bottom Line (focus and application). We break into 3 smaller groups by grade for Scripture application and activities. Older students participate in Praise and Worship as a rotation of JAM. At 5 p.m. preK and kindergarten students join 1st and 2nd graders for Children's Choir. All music is led by Andrew Busenlenner.
JAM is led by children's ministry staff and volunteers. Parents volunteer as a JAM assistants or provide weekly snacks. JAM is thriving with 40 elementary age children currently enrolled. A traditional monthly gathering of women in the church centered around fellowship, prayer concerns, a lesson series, compassion outreach, and participation in a variety of local mission projects. Members bring a sack lunch and share hostessing responsibilities. Meetings are held September - May.
The MomCo (formerly Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter at First Presbyterian encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. Our leadership team and Mentor Moms welcome women from throughout the community. Childcare is available. MOPS meets September - May.

We can’t think of a better way to usher in the Christmas season than an opportunity to give back and share God’s love with others in our community. This year, we are partnering with Project Backyard and Harper Elementary to sponsor and wrap gifts for over 25 families who are in need. The teachers of harper are working with the parents of these families to get a “wishlist” for each child, and our role will be to sponsor the purchasing of these gifts and help wrap them. We will then give the gifts to the parents, so that they can have the joy of giving them to their children on Christmas morning. This is a great way to give back this Christmas season, and we would love for you to be a part of it. Presbyterian Women | 2nd Monday each month | 12 PM | Edwards Building
A traditional monthly gathering of women in the church centered around fellowship, prayer concerns, a lesson series, compassion outreach, and participation in a variety of local mission projects. Members bring a sack lunch and share hostessing responsibilities. Meetings are held September - May.
Join us each Sunday morning at 10am in the Student Ministry Building for a time of fellowship and Bible study. We hope to see you there!
A time for Sunday school is set aside each week during the 10:00 hour (with one class exception). Through a variety of means and leader styles, the truths of Scripture are studied among like-minded believers. Sunday school offers the opportunity for people to identify, invite and connect with other adults to create an ongoing Bible study experience.
Women of the Word is our weekly Bible study. Six - 12 week studies are held throughout the fall and spring.

Calling all PreK - 2nd graders! Join us each Wednesday from 5pm-5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall for our children’s choir rehearsal, directed by Andrew Busenlener.
Calling all 1st-5th Grade FPC Kids for JAM (Jesus and Me!) on Wednesdays from 3:00-5:30pm in the Edwards Building & Fellowship Hall.
Get ready for fun, worship, snack, outdoor play, scripture lesson and life skills!
Wednesday afternoons are for the KIDS at FPC! Jesus and Me (JAM) is a discipleship program for children 1st-5th grade. We focus our time on fun and fellowship with Bible story and application, scripture memory, games/outdoor play, service opportunities, and NEW this year, Music, Praise & Worship! The lively curriculum is from Amazing Life, 252Kids.
JAM includes large group snack and outdoor time, followed by the Bible story and lesson, and monthly memory verse and Bottom Line (focus and application). We break into 3 smaller groups by grade for Scripture application and activities. Older students participate in Praise and Worship as a rotation of JAM. At 5 p.m. preK and kindergarten students join 1st and 2nd graders for Children's Choir. All music is led by Andrew Busenlenner.
JAM is led by children's ministry staff and volunteers. Parents volunteer as a JAM assistants or provide weekly snacks. JAM is thriving with 40 elementary age children currently enrolled. The consistent participation on Wednesdays provides the perfect transition into middle school student ministry. The MomCo (formerly Mothers of Preschoolers) chapter at First Presbyterian encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. Our leadership team and Mentor Moms welcome women from throughout the community. Childcare is available. MOPS meets September - May.
