FPC SATURDAY SERVE DAY
SATURDAY, June 23rd | 8AM-2PM
Are you looking for a way to put your faith into action and serve the Thomasville community? If so, we would love for you and your family to join us on Saturday, June 23rd, as we take to the streets to show the love of Jesus to our neighbors. We will be partnering with Project Backyard, the city police, the Dewey City watch group, and the Faircloth watch group to host a community clean up event from 8am-11am, as well as facilitating a community fun day event at Weston Park from 11am-2pm.
For the "community clean up" event, FPC volunteers will be teaming up with residents of the Dewey City and Faircloth communities to walk the streets, picking up trash and debris. This will not only help beatify the Dewey City and Faircloth areas, it will also be a great opportunity to build relationships with brothers and sisters who we might otherwise have no interaction with on a daily basis. For the "community fun day” event, we will be helping host a community cookout, facilitating games for children, distributing nonperishable food items to those in need, and much more! There will be plenty of ways for you to serve, so we hope you can join us!
