Volunteers will be meeting this Saturday, October 28th at 8:30am at the FPC Student Building, located at 110 N. Crawford St., Thomasville, GA.

Often times, when we think of service or mission work, our first thought is to go overseas or to some far-off place; however, the reality is that there are people in need all around us, right here in our own community of Thomasville.  First Presbyterian Church has a long history of being a mission-focused church, both internationally and locally, and we want to continue this tradition in the coming months and years.

Don't miss this opportunity to serve the community of Thomasville this Saturday, October 28th at 8:30am! We are partnering with Project Backyard Thomasville to host a service day as part of the the nationwide release of the movie "Same Kind of Different as Me". As our very own Michael Carney, the director of the film, says, "it's not just a movie, it's a movement", so we hope you will come out and be a part of this movement this Saturday as we share God's love through service.
