Nursery care is provided in age appropriate infant and toddler nursery rooms.  The Nursery is available in a secure environment during all regular scheduled worship services and activities. We have an automated check-in system for families who utilize the church Nursery. The Nursery is located on the main hall of the Education Building.

Children’s Sunday School (K – 6th grade)

The Gospel Project

Sunday school for our children is led by an outstanding team of committed volunteers. Our elementary curriculum is The Gospel Project for Kids. The Gospel Project immerses kids in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, children will understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption. Sunday school classes meet from 10:00-10:50 in the Education Building; Preschool class in the Leach Room, K through 4th grade, upstairs

BRIDGE Class

FPC offers a special class for ‘tweens – 5th and 6th graders.  The students meet together during the Sunday school hour in the Student Ministry Building and are led by Beth Filston, Alison Knox and Bob & Laura Miles through The Gospel Project.  The Bridge class is a special place for these special young people!

Children’s Worship

Children’s Worship is a special time for children, ages 3 – 1st grade, held during both the Arise and Traditional worship services.  Children are dismissed early in the service to attend their own age appropriate program, held in the Education Building. Children’s worship includes a time of Scripture study from The Gospel Story Bible and an applicable craft, treat or activity.  Children are dismissed to Sunday school at the conclusion of Arise worship and to parents at the end of the later worship service. Children’s worship is led by parent volunteers and student assistants.

Kids’ Club – Wednesdays 6:15-7:00

Following WNL family supper, Kids’ Club is designed for children 4 years – 5th grade.  Children meet with ministry volunteers for a time of worship, study and FUN.  Each Spring, Kid’s Club becomes Catechism Quest where we spend our time learning the Essentials of the Faith through the study of catechisms.  Catechisms are taught in question/answer format and provide an outstanding foundation in spiritual learning.  Children will memorize and apply 57 Q/A in the study which culminates in the annual CATECHISM CHALLENGE.
